Define items displayed in cascading properties

You can define which items are displayed in the Cascading Properties by making some configuration changes in the Object Registry.

To define the items displayed in the Cascading Properties

1. Open the measConfig tool.

2. Log in to CONNECT. For more information, refer to Sign in to CONNECT.

3. Go to the Select Table tab.

4. Double-click objItemSetRefer to open the tab and navigate to it.

5. Set the module to CD_PROJECT.

   If the CD_PROJECT module is not in the module dropdown, select New Module to add it..

6. Select Insert.

   A new row will appear.

7. If you do not know the name of the objItemSubGroup or objItemName, open the Properties window for the object type in the AVEVA Measurement Advisor client:

   • module —CD_PROJECT

   • objItemSetDesc:objItemSetName — Basic Config

   • objItemSubGroupDesc:objItemSubGroupName — the objItemSubGroupName is the name of the property sub-group in AVEVA Measurement Advisor

     

   • objItemDesc:objItemName is the property's Item Name in AVEVA Measurement Advisor

     

8. You need to enter the information you located into each field.

   

9. Select the Save and Load tab.

10. Select Save All.

11. Select Update Database.
