Understand gas quality backup functionality

Choosing the granularity to use for backup Gas Quality (GQ) data will be done according to these rules:

  1. If the meter was using Hourly data from the original GQ, use hourly data at the backup GQ.

Note: If no hourly data is available at the backup GQ, use daily data at the backup GQ. If no hourly or daily data is available at the backup GQ, use sampled data at the backup GQ.

  2. If the meter was using daily data from the original GQ, use daily data at the backup GQ

Note: If there is no daily data available at the backup GQ, if the meter's primary history granularity is hourly use hourly data at the backup GQ. If there is no hourly data, but there is sampled data available, use sampled data at the backup GQ.

  3. If the meter was using sampled data from the original GQ, use sampled data at the backup GQ.

Note: If there is no sampled data available at the backup GQ, if the meter's primary history granularity is hourly use hourly data at the backup GQ. If there is no hourly data, but there is daily data available, use daily data at the backup GQ.

  4. You cannot assign a gas quality point if it is currently using a backup GQ itself.
