Prepare to obtain your CONNECT access token

  • Last UpdatedNov 17, 2025
  • 1 minute read

Access tokens are authorization pass codes that you, as an account Administrator, generate and use to enable the transmission of your data from File Import or the MeasDataProtector to CONNECT.

Note: The expiry time of a service access token is set at the time that you create the token. Once a token expires—at an interval defined by your security policy—you must create a new one and update your configuration.

Prerequisites to ensure success

You require read and write permissions for the following folders:

Directory name

Purpose

%DNADataRoot%\MeasurementAdvisor\config\keyring

To read and write the keyring files.

%DNADataRoot%\MeasurementAdvisor\config\Settings

To read the MeasDataProtectorSettings.

%DNAInstallRoot%\MeasurementAdvisor\bin

To execute the SecretProtector.

Proceed to Generate a CONNECT service access token.
