Bidirectional meters

Bidirectional meters are commonly found in association with storage facilities where volume may be flowing in to storage one minute and flowing out of storage the next minute in order to manage supply and demand. A single physical meter may be required to account for the volume in both directions. In this situation, the AVEVA Measurement Advisor system must be able to determine the direction of flow for any particular volume reading and account for the volume in each direction separately using two "virtual" meters.
