Enable/disable performance recording

Follow this procedure to record database call information and/or user action information.

Note: The recording of database calls and user action information places a load on AVEVA Measurement Advisor and the database. Therefore, employ it only for short periods of time to gather information when required.

  1. On the Properties of User window, select the Performance Recording tab.

  2. Do one or both of the following:

    • To record user action information, select User Action Recording.

    • To record database call information, select User Database Call Recording.

    • To view the results of performance recording, navigate to the Sightline Performance window (refer to Sightline performance viewer).

      Note: Performance recording is cached and sent to the database in batches. This can result in a delay of around 15-20 seconds before data shows up on the Sightline Performance window.
