  1. You can turn off features using the processes outlined in Use the MeasConfig tool to make updates to the object registry.

If you attempt to turn the feature off, and it has properties configured, you will receive an error that is similar to the following. Take note of the objItemCode and table name.

    System.Exception: delete objItemDesc where objItemCode=1380

Msg: 547, Level: 16 State: 0, SQL Line: 1, The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_OI_REF_OID". The conflict occurred in database "EFM", table "dbo.objItem", column 'objItemCode'

  2. In the event that no error message was received, you have successfully turned the feature off.

Addressing the error message

  1. You will need to need to delete the property's values for the feature before you can turn it off completely:

    • When using the MeasConfig tool to obtain the subgroup and name, search for the objItemCode (in this case, 1380) in the objItemDesc table.

  2. After obtaining the subgroup and property name, proceed to Deleting the feature's associated property values.
