From the Problem Audit Summary in AVEVA Measurement Advisor, create a filter that gathers the following information:

Date range that you want to analyze.

Export the Excel file. For more information, refer to Export measurement data.
If you’re looking for a specific problem type, for example, the Reasonability Check, filter the problem type as Reasonability Check in the grid and the export the Problem Audit information as an Excel file.

Open the new Excel file you created, and add a new column called Difference in Value and introduce the formula in the cell below: Problem Value - Upper Value, replacing the Column Names with the cell number in Excel.

Create a PivotTable as described in Create a PivotTable from the exported data.

When selecting your PivotTable fields:

Insert Problem Type, Column Name, and Name into Rows.

Insert Diff in Val from the PivotTable Fields into Values.
It should appear as follows:

Select on the Value Field Settings for the Value just added and change the Summarize Value field by in Summarize values by tab to Average and select OK.

The final PivotTable will appear as follows. From Cell D5, the average difference in problem value and upper value for the Energy is 149. You may increase the upper limit to avoid validation problems in the future.
