Calculated energy check

The Calculated Energy Check calculates the energy based on the meter’s volume and the last known valid/accepted heating value obtained from the associated gas quality (GQ) source.
The following equation is used to calculate the energy:
Energy = Volume * Heating Value
This calculated energy is compared with the energy stored in the meter record. If they differ by more than the specified tolerance, a calculated energy problematic context record is generated.
Automatic Replacement of Data
You can configure the system to automatically replace volume and energy with host calculated values after the Calculated Energy Check has failed. The data quality of the replaced record is INVALID or FLAGGED, and the system generates a problematic context record. Then, you can either accept or reject the replaced records, or configure the meter to automatically accept the replaced data.
Automatic Acceptance of Replaced Data
You can configure the system, to automatically accept the replaced volume and energy. The data quality of the automatically accepted replaced record is ACCEPTED and the system does not generate a problematic context record.
Note: If the automatic acceptance is disabled, you must accept or reject the replaced data manually.
