Description

GQ Estimation (Default)

Heating Value

The default value for the heating value. The heating value of a component is the amount of heat produced by combustion. The heating value in the estimation is the ideal heating value multiplied by the compressibility factor.

Heating Value Ideal

The default value for the ideal heating value. The ideal heating value is the weighted sum of the heating values of each of the GQ components. The heating value of a component is the amount of heat produced by combustion.

Specific Gravity

The default value for specific gravity. The specific gravity of the component is the density of the component divided by the density of dry air at ºC and 101.325 KPa. Specific gravity of the estimation is the ideal specific gravity multiplied by the compressibility factor.

Specific Gravity Ideal

The default value for ideal specific gravity. Ideal specific gravity is the weighted sum of the specific gravities of each of the GQ components. The specific gravity of a component is the density of the component divided by the density of dry air.

CO2 - C10

The default values of the various products and substances that will be part of the estimation.

Water Vapor Factor

The default value for water vapor factor. The water vapor factor defines how data is entered or displayed in a wet unit profile.

Run Time

The default value of the run time. The run time is the length of the time of the data row. It is used to convert the data between end of period and top of period when viewing the data in different unit profiles.

Wobbe Index

The Wobbe Index quantifies the interchangeability of gasses better than heating value or specific gravity. It is defined as:

The Wobbe Index is calculated based on the BTU (60) heating value. This is defined as unitless in AVEVA Measurement Advisor and will not have unit conversion applied to it when you change the unit profile.

Zb/Zs

The default value of the compressibility factor.

Extended Gas Analysis Est

Water Dewpoint

The default value for the water dewpoint. The water dewpoint is the temperature at which the water in the gas will condense.

Cricondentherm

The default value for cricondentherm. Cricondentherm is the minimum temperature at which the gas will remain in a gaseous state.

Total Sulphur

The default value for the total sulphur value.

Extended Liquid Analysis

Est

Viscosity

The default value for viscosity.

Density

The default value for density.

BSW

The default value for Base, Sediment, and Water (BSW). BSW is the specification for impurities in the gas.
