Use the MeasConfig tool to make updates to the object registry

There are three types of edits that can be made to the object registry to change the way the application behaves.

Server-specific edits

Global edits that will apply to each server, using CD_PROJECT. These edits will be loaded in automatically.

Create a custom module by selecting a New Module. For example, the module could be named <Company>Overrides. It should not be prefaced with CD_, unless the module is in the configDesc table.
Any changes make in the MeasConfig Tool can be exported to .xml file(s). For more information, see Export configuration override files.
You can also import changes into MeasConfig and then save them to the database. For more information, see Import configuration override files.
Note: The user must have Meas Admin permission to run this tool.
