Use tabs to switch between windows

When multiple windows are open, they are displayed as tabs on the desktop. This makes it convenient to switch between windows and see at a glance which windows are open.

To switch between windows using tabs

1. From your selection of active windows listed at the top of the desktop, select the window that you wish to view.

   Your desired window is displayed as the active tab.

   Note: The window headers displayed on tooltip are truncated. Simply hover over the tab and a tooltip appears, listing the window's full name.

   

2. Select Close on the tab when you have finished viewing or editing the active window.

   The tab closes.
