It is possible to change how menus in AVEVA Measurement Advisor are sorted. This affects dropdown menus in addition to shortcut menus (menus accessed through a right-select action). Options available for selection are as follows:

  • Default. Selecting this option will use AVEVA Measurement Advisor default menu-sorting settings.

  • Ascending. Selecting this option will display AVEVA Measurement Advisor menu items in ascending alphabetical order.

  • Descending. Selecting this option will display AVEVA Measurement Advisor menu items in descending alphabetical order.

Default Balance View Granularity

The system displays the Balance data (for the measuring station) at the selected (configured) granularity (monthly, daily, hourly, or 15-minute).

Default Editor View Granularity

If set to Last Selected, the editor displayed data using the same granularity as last selected. If set to Default, the editor uses the primary granularity when opening the Meter data editor or Gas quality (GQ) data editor window.

Default Editor View Time Range

If set to Last Selected, the editor displays data using the same date/ time range as last selected. If set to Default, the editor uses the date/ time range when opening from the Meter summary or Gas quality (GQ) summary.

Graphical Summary Preference

If set to Monthly, the Graphical Summary windows displays data for an entire month. If 26 Days Prior to Selected Day is selected, it shows 26 days back from the current data into the previous month and 3 days forward from the current date.

Same Time Range For All Granularity

If selected, the Meter and GQ windows show the same date/time range when moving between 15-minute, hourly, daily and monthly granularity.

Save Window Positions

Reopening a window will open it into the same space within AVEVA Measurement Advisor.

Open Properties Screen with Current Date and Time

The current date and time are used when opening the Properties window instead of using the date from the screen that opens it.

Single Instance of Any Screen

If not checked, multiple instances of one window or dialog can be opened (e.g., to compare data for different dates). If checked, only one window or dialog opens. Selecting the tab again will update to the new information within the existing window.

Copy / Paste

Separator

The Copy / Paste Separator allows you to define what punctuation marks are used to separate data in the event of a copy and paste situation.

Date / Time Effective

Property Alert Tolerance

When a date-time effective property has been changed close to the display date, the effective date or the expiry date is colored with the invalid configuration color to let you know that the property has just changed or is about to change. The number of days in advance this trigger is set for is defined by this user option. That is, if this is set to 1 day, then any property that was set within the last day will have the effective date (effTime) colored. Any property for which configuration will change in the next day will have the expiration time (expTime) colored.

Default Window

This button allows you to assign the default window positions to the screens within AVEVA Measurement Advisor.

Default Layouts

This button allows you to assign the default to the original column order and width.

Data Status Color

(Legends)

The Data Status Color section contains different color choices for each data condition. For more information, refer to Data status colors.
