On the desktop, select Graphical Meter Summary.
The Graphical Meter Summary window appears.
-
When the Graphical Meter Summary window appears, right-click on the row header of the meter that you want to con.
-
From the shortcut menu, select Properties.
-
When the Properties for Meter window appears, navigate to the MTR Estimation section on the Meter tab and set the Data Estimation type to MTR Estimation (LaggedAlternate).
A MTR Estimation (LaggedAlternate) tab appears.
-
Select on the Expand button.
A list of configuration options appears. The fields on that tab that apply to spreading are as follows:
-
Periods. Define the number of lagged periods that are used when finding the data.
-
Source meter. The meter with the data to use for the distribution profile.
-
Source station. The station with the data to use for the distribution profile. Only meter or station should be specified. If both have values, the meter is used.
A distribution of the volume is created from the alternate meter or station. The resulting volumes are the volume to be spread divided up in a similar manner as the volume of the alternate meter/station (e.g. The meter we are spreading has 24000 MCF of volume and the alternate meter has 48000 MCF with 3000 MCF for each of the first 12 hours then 1000 MCF for each of the next 12 hours. The spread data would be 1500 for each of the first 12 hours and 500 MCF for the other 12 hours.)
If no data is found, the data is spread evenly. For example, if we are spreading from daily to hourly and Periods = 2, it will use the data 2 hours before the date of the data we are spreading. The daily data to be spread has a date of 3/31/2013 09:00 A.M. Spread data will be created for the following time range:
3/31/2013 09:00 A.M. - 4/1/2013 08:00 A.M.
If periods are set to 2, then, when AVEVA Measurement Advisor pulls the alternate hourly data from the other meter/station to create the distribution profile, it will get the data from the following time range:
3/31/2013 07:00 A.M. - 4/1/2013 18:00 P.M.

After setting these attributes, return to the Meter tab. Under General Data Spreading, you can assign a Spreading Algorithm to the meters you have just configured, as defined in Configuring a General Spreading Algorithm.
