There are three types of edits that can be made to the object registry.

  • Custom overrides created by selecting New Module that will be applied to each installation of AVEVA Measurement Advisor.

  • Global overrides that will apply to each server of AVEVA Measurement Advisor, using the format CD_PROJECT.

  • Server-specific overrides, using the format CD_<CLOUDDB>. For more information, see the Update the behavior configuration overrides.

To define the location where the edits will be performed

  1. In MeasConfig, next to the Database tab, from the control dropdown list, select the server or project location where the configuration overrides will take effect.

  2. Proceed with Select a table to continue setting up your configuration overrides for this location.

  3. Keep in mind you need to repeat configuration steps for each location that needs overrides.

To create a new set of custom overrides

  1. From the Database dropdown list on the tab control, select New Module.

  2. If you selected New Module, the Enter String dialog box appears.

  3. Enter the name of your set of custom overrides. We recommend <Company>Overrides.

  4. Proceed with Select a table to continue setting up your configuration overrides.
