The following procedure will guide you through the configuration of the Orifice Meter tab.
To configure the Orifice Meter tab
-
Select the Orifice Meter tab.
Note: In order to see the Orifice Meter tab, you must have defined a Metering method of Orifice Meter.

-
Select the type of orifice meter. Choose one of the following:
-
Orifice EFM
-
Orifice Host Calculated
-
-
Select the Volumetric Calculation to be used. The choices are:
-
AGA-3 1985
-
AGA-3 1992
-
AGA-3 1992 Liquid
-
API 14.4
Note: As mass is an input variable to the API 14.4 mass to liquid calculation, the Missing Parameter Check for mass can be used to estimate missing data. For more information, refer to Missing parameter check.
-
-
Enter the Tube Diameter.
This is the pipeline diameter at the orifice plate.
Note: This property is subject to Property Validation Checking. For more information, refer to Meter properties validation checking.
-
Enter the Plate Diameter to define the orifice plate's diameter.
-
Define the DP low flow cut off.
This will define the differential pressure below which volume corrections are invalid.
-
Enter the Orifice reference temperature.
-
Enter the Isentropic Exponent.
-
Enter the Min. Static Pressure Range.
-
Enter the Min Diff. Pressure Range.
-
Enter the Max. Static Pressure Range
-
Enter the Max. Diff Pressure Range
-
Enter the Max. Temperature Range.
Note: This property is subject to Property Validation Checking. For more information, refer to Meter properties validation checking.
