Add groups to an Area of responsibility (AOR)

This task is primarily one for an Administrator. Assigning Areas of Responsibility (AORs) and groups allows the Administrator to decide who is privy to what information, and what they can view and edit. Most Measurement Objects can be associated with an AOR group.

To add groups to an AOR

1. In the Available Groups section on the Properties for AOR window: Groups tab, select the desired groups.

2. Select Add.

3. To have control rights over a group, select Controllable.

   Groups that are defined as being Controllable can be managed by the AOR group member. If the Controllable checkbox is not selected, an AOR group member can view the information but not edit it.

   Note: You cannot add a SCADA group to a non-SCADA AOR.

4. Select Save.
