Header pressure and temperature

  • Last UpdatedSep 24, 2024

In specific situations, pressure and temperature measurements may be available on only one run of a multi-run station. In this case, the pressure and temperature measurements from one header run may need to be applied to one or more non-header runs at the same station.

If the pressure or temperature changes (telemetry or manual edit) on the header run, these values are inherited by the non-header runs and the volume or energy (re)calculations on any these runs would also be affected. This behavior only applies to pressure or temperature, no other values.

Supporting information on the Header Pressure and Temperature meters is only available if the CD_HEADER_PRESSURE_TEMPERATURE is set to Y in the Object Registry.

Header Type

  • Normal is the default.

  • Header defines the point connected to the station as the header run.

  • Non-header defines the point connected to the station as a non-header run.

Header Point

  • When Header Type = Normal, this will be blank.

  • When Header Type = Header, this will be the name of the point connected to the station.

  • When Header Type = Non-Header, this will be the name of the Header point that will be used to obtain temperature and pressure values.
