Connect a meter to a remote

Under the Value column on the Properties for Meter: Meter tab, select the button to the right of Remote.
The Connected Item for Meter window appears.

Select Edit to open a section in the window that allows for the modification of connectivity.
The Connected Items for Meter Edit window displays the remote that is connected to the meter, and a list of remotes that can be connected (are available) to the meter.
Notes: Only one remote can be connected to a Meter.
It is possible to filter the information on the Connected Items for Meter window. For more information, refer to Filters.

Select the desired remote under Available.

Select Connect to open the Assign Run Number for Meter window.
The Assign Run Number for Meter window opens.

Enter the Run Number and select Okay.
The desired remote appears under Connected in the Connected Item for Meter window.

On the Connected Item for Meter window, select Okay.
The Properties for Meter: Meter tab displays the remotes that are connected to the meter.
