Gas Quality General |
Analysis point type |
The analysis point type. Can be one of the following:
Analysis product type |
The product type. Can be one of the following:
Analysis source |
Provides the source of the Gas Quality information. |
Field device local timezone |
The time zone in which the field device collecting the metering data is located. |
Field device contract hour |
The contract hour of the field device. The Field Device Contract Hour can be used to timestamp the daily aggregated rows with the contract hour and time zone used by the field device. If CD_FIELD_DEVICE_AGGREGATES is set to Y in the configDesc table, the contract hour and time zone will be supplied by the field. |
Official contract hour |
The Official contract hour can be used to timestamp the daily aggregated rows with the official contract hour in the system's time zone, as opposed to using the contract hour and time zone supplied by the field. The system's time zone is set in the configDesc table, in CD_CONTRACT_TIMEZONE_CODE. If the customer wishes to use the Official contract hour according to the system time (using the time zone entered in CD_CONTRACT_TIMEZONE_CODE), as opposed to the information supplied by the field, they need to set CD_FIELD_DEVICE_AGGREGATES to N in the configDesc table. |
Alternate contract hour |
This allows the customer to supply an Alternate contract hour. Note: The Alternate contract hour is not used for any data processing. It is purely informational. |
Thermal calculation |
Provides the Thermal Calculation method selected for use with the Gas Quality record. Options are as follows:
Dry threshold |
Define a water vapour content threshold below which the value would be considered dry. |
Compressibility calculation |
Compressibility calculation to use for heating value determination. |
Subtract dry threshold from H2O |
Subtract dry threshold from water content when calculating the water vapour factor. |
Density reference temperature |
Base temperature for compressibility calculations. |
Density reference pressure |
Base pressure for compressibility calculations. |
Normalize manual entry |
Select to enable the normalization dialog in the Gas Quality Data Editor. |
Normalize telemetered data |
Select to automatically normalize telemetered data in the reading manager if it is within one percent. |
Telemetry calculation policy |
Defines the recalculation policy for the heating value, specific gravity, and cricondentherm (if the hydrocarbon dewpoint module is installed) when the data is received by the system. The choices are as follows:
Available to RealTime apps? |
Is this gas analysis point required by AVEVA Enterprise SCADA applications? |
Send to GDO? |
Send gas quality data to AVEVA Gas Day Advisor . |
Hydrocarbon dewpoint calculation |
VMGThermo is not available for hydrocarbon dewpoint calculations. Only the GERG-08 calculation of the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Reference Fluid Thermodynamic and Transport Properties Database (NIST REFPROP) is supported. For more information on configuring the hydrocarbon dewpoint calculation method, refer to the AVEVA Measurement Advisor Installer documentation. |
Auto update config |
Select to automatically update host configuration from the RTU. |
Enable editor cricondentherm cal |
Enable the calculation of cricondentherm from within the Gas Quality Data Editor. |
Gas Quality History |
Primary history granularity |
Defines the granularity at which the data is received from the field device. The choices are as follows:
Reject non-primary granularity |
Reject all data for this gas quality that is not in the primary history granularity. |
Enable Daily Averages |
To enable Gas Quality (GQ) Averaging, select Enable Daily Averages. For more information, refer to Gas Quality (GQ) Averaging. |
Minimum Hours for Average |
Define the minimum hours required for the average to be considered valid. |
Sampled Gas Quality |
Sampling Organization |
The organization that is taking the sample. |
Analyzing Organization |
The organization that is analyzing the sample. |
Receiving Organization |
The organization that is receiving the sample. |
Sample Time Adjustment |
Use to configure how the sample time information is adjusted when the sampled data is received by the system. Note: The desired Sampled Time Adjustment must be defined before the data is received. The adjustment will not be applied after the system has received the data. There are four options:
Analysis component spreading |
Cx plus Type |
Define the Cx Plus Type to be used. |
Spread Cplus |
Should the Measurement Calculation Library spread Cplus to the appropriate components? |
C6 Spread Weight |
If spreading has been enabled, what weight should C6 use? This requires of a minimum value of 0 and a maximum value of 1. |
C7 Spread Weight |
If spreading has been enabled, what weight should C7 use? This requires of a minimum value of 0 and a maximum value of 1. |
