Datasets are the mechanism used in an on-premises system to assign control and replication of a particular object. Datasets are not used for this purpose in AVEVA Measurement Advisor in the cloud but are retained for compatibility with an on-premises distributed AVEVA Enterprise SCADA system. The AVEVA Measurement Advisor cloud installation is configured to be able to control all datasets. This should not be changed.
