Coriolis meters use the AGA-11 2013 standard to calculate volume from mass. This tab will allow you to configure how the calculation is performed.

To configure the Pressure Compensation Factor (Fp), perform one of the following:
-
If you want this to be calculated by the system, select the following icon (
) to select Calculated as the Value. The system will use the following formula:
Pressure Compensation Factor (Fp) = 1 / (1 + ((Flow Pressure Effect / 100)*(Pressure - Calibration Static Pressure)))
-
If you have a fixed Pressure Compensation Factor (Fp) that you would like to use for the calculation, enter the value in the field.
The Pressure Compensation Factor (Fp) is used to calculate the compensated mass as follows:
Compensated Mass = Uncompensated Mass * Fp
The uncompensated mass is calculated as follows:
Uncompensated Mass = Pulse Count * Meter Factor / K Factor

Enter the associated Flow Pressure Effect. This should be entered as gauged pressure.
This value is used to account for the effect on accuracy when measuring mass flow at an operating pressure that differs from the Calibration Static Pressure.
-
Define the Calibration Static Pressure for the calculation of the pressure compensation factor. This should be entered as gauged pressure.
