To turn off archiving

From the File Import Properties window, clear the Enable Archival checkbox.

Select OK.
The File Import will no longer be archived. If you clear the Enable Archival checkbox, the configuration for the Archive will be maintained. However, the Location (where the files should be stored) will not be maintained and will need to be re-entered.
