About the processing flow of validation routines

The meter validation processing takes place at different times depending on what is being validated. For example, the field-based equipment checks are done before the calculations that Measurement performs on the raw data that it receives. Additional checks are performed after any data calculations have been completed.
Meter Pre-Calculation Validation Routines
Note: These validation routines are performed before the Measurement application processes the data. The data is validated in its raw state.
-
Low Flow Check
Note: If pre-calculation validation fails for the Low Flow Check, post-calculation validation will not occur on the record. For more information, refer to Low flow check.

Operational Limit Check
-
Split Record Check
-
Missing Parameter Check
-
Flow Extension Check (performed on Orifice Meters only)
Meter Post-Calculation Validation Routines
Note: These validation routines are performed after the Measurement application has processed the data.
