Connect physical stations to a close group

Open the properties for a particular close group.

Select the Physical Stations tab.

Select Connect.

The Connected Items window appears.

Select Edit.

There are two columns, Connected and Available.

Highlight the desired item in the Available column.

1. To view only the disconnected items, select the Disconnected Only checkbox.

   Note: If the chosen stations is already connected to a close group, it will be disconnected from that close group. A physical station can only be connected to one close group at a time.

Select Connect.

The item appears in the Connected column.

Note: If there is a conflict between the close group's period end date and the station's period end date, AVEVA Measurement Advisor will address the conflict in one of three ways. For more information, refer to Connect a station to a close group with a different close period.

To disconnect connected items, highlight the item that you wish to remove in the Connected column.

Select Disconnect.

Note: All properties can be made unavailable for editing by changing the permission levels associated with them. This is typically configured at installation time. For more information, speak to your Administrator.
