Find a string

You can enter a string and the system will find all rows that contain that string.
Note: The Summary windows (for example, windows like the Meter Summary, Gas Quality Summary, Measuring Station Summary) search based on the Name and Description fields. Find searches row by row, rather than column by column. If the search string you have entered appears in both the Name and the Description fields for a particular row, the row containing the name and the description will only be selected once.

To find a string
-
In the Find field on a window, enter the desired text string.

-
Press Enter.
The system finds the first row that contains that string, and will bring it to the top of the window. When the Find box locates a row, the row is selected and scrolled to the top of the grid, except when the row is in the last page, in which case, the row is simply selected.
In the image above, or1 is entered into the Find field in hopes of finding the meter that contains OR1.
-
Press Enter.
The system finds the next row that contains that string.
-
Repeat Step 3 as desired.
