To approve outstanding calculations
-
The system uploads the configuration from an Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) (field) and compares it to the configuration stored in Measurement (host).
-
If there is a difference, the system puts the configuration in to objItemProblem table for you to view. When you open the Graphical Meter Summary window, the row for the meter with the problematic configuration is colored with the invalid configuration color. You should right-click to select Problematic Configuration to bring up the Problematic Configuration for Meter window.
-
If the host value is correct, then a download of the correct property is sent to SCADA.
-
If the field value is correct, then the property is updated in the host. If the property is used in volume calculation, then the Averaging Error Method property is checked to see if it is set to Volume Ratio. If it is, then the information appears on the Pending Operation Summary so you can determine if the volume should be recalculated or the volume ratio should be recalculated.
Note: If the meter has the Calculate Volume Ratio enabled, it will also display on the Pending Operation Summary.
