File import

File Import allows a customer to import data from a variety of file types. Once a file is imported, it can be archived.
The underlying tools that support file importing should be downloaded on intial install. For more information, see Install the AVEVA Measurement Advisor components.
File Import uses the following permissions:

Meas File Import Config - Create or modify file import tasks.

Meas File Import Run - Will allow you to run file import tasks directly with MeasFileImport.exe.

Meas File Import View - View File Import tasks, without the capacity to modify them in any way.
