Approve or reject adjustments

You can review all pending, versioned adjustments and choose to accept or reject them.

There may be more than one pending adjustment for a reading. When you approve an adjusted reading, all other pending adjustments for that reading are automatically rejected. Rejected readings are moved from the pending table to a rejected adjustment table.

When you approve an hourly adjustment for a meter, a daily adjustment record is automatically generated by the system if the meter is configured to generate daily aggregations. The daily record is calculated as the sum of the hourly records, and has an edit description to indicate this. You need only approve the hourly records in such a scenario.

Upon the approval of a pending Prior Period Adjustment (PPA), the system also triggers any other required calculations (e.g., balancing).
