Enable an existing language

This procedure can be used to enable an existing translation. It can be enabled on individual servers, for an entire project, or for each instance of AVEVA Measurement Advisor.

To enable an existing language using the measConfig tool

1. Define the location where the required language is be enabled.

   For more information, see Define the server or project location where configuration overrides apply.

2. On the Select Table tab, double-click the configDesc row.

   The configDesc tab appears.

3. Locate the entry for the needed language on the configDesc tab located with the CD_UTIL entries. For example, CD_SPANISH.

4. Set the booleanValue to "Y".

5. Save and load these configuration changes.

   For more information, see Save and load configuration changes.

   Note: Once this is enabled, the orf.<language>.xml files are loaded automatically when you load the other files in the object registry.
