Split Connectors

Splits a connector using an identified point, vertex or a gap.
Input CONNCT_SPLIT directly on the drawing canvas to display the Context Editor.

You are prompted to Specify connector to split
Note:
The prompt does not display if the connector element is already selected.
Click to identify the connector to split.
You are then prompted to Select the split point or
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the connector split point.
The section is split at the identified split point.
Throughout the split process you can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.

Undo |
Press the down arrow key and select Undo to undo the last action. |

Vertex |
Press the down arrow key and select Vertex to split the connector using an identified vertex. You are prompted to Select the split vertex or Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the connector split vertex. |

Gap |
Press the down arrow key and select Gap to split the connector using an identified gap. You are prompted to Select first point of the gap or Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the first gap point. You are then prompted to Select second point of the gap or Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the second gap point. |
The new CONNCT element displays in the Draw Explorer.
