Cuts and deletes the selection and stores the elements in a clipboard for a later paste operation.

Cut With Base Point

Cuts and deletes the selection with a user specified base point for the origin reference point and stores the elements in a clipboard for a later paste operation.

Select Item(s)

By dragging a rectangular fence around a group of items you can choose if you want to include everything totally enclosed within the fence, or everything totally enclosed plus all the items the fence crosses.

To include items totally enclosed in a fence, begin the rectangular fence by clicking top or bottom left and then clicking top or bottom right to complete the rectangle.

Note:
The rectangular fence is displayed purple.

Holding the Ctrl key down while performing a fence selection adds the selected items to the existing Graphical Selection.

Holding the Shift key down while performing a fence selection removes the selected items from the existing Graphical Selection.
