Create and Modify Area Libraries

Sets the definitions for area libraries which are DLLB elements that can be used for specific discipline types. For example, the set of areas for a piping discipline are likely to be different 3D volumes to those used by mechanical or structural disciplines. Area libraries are use to split the total areas into smaller groups to suit discipline based requirements.

Input a name for the new library in the Name field.

Select the appropriate function for the library from the Function drop-down box.

To add the new library to the Area Library list, click Add.

To replace a highlighted Area Library with current Name and Function settings, click Replace

To remove a library from the Area Library list, click Remove. A Confirm window displays asking you to OK the deletion. Click Yes to delete the item.

By default the Name and Discipline elements in the Area Libraries are sorted alpha numerically (A-Z, 0-9). To reverse the order, click the column header of the relevant list.
