A Cone grip is used in several ways depending on the item selected. The movement of the cone is constrained according to the shape of the item.

A cone grip on a GENSEC is used to reposition the endpoint or midpoint of an item.

Click on a cone and either drag the cone to its new position or enter a value.

On a Panel (PANE) a cone grip is used to fillet a corner.

Click on a cone and either drag the cone to specify the radius or enter a value.

To create a interior fillet enter a negative value.

On an item, for example, a Box or a Cylinder in Equipment, a cone grip is used to extend it, set an absolute value, create a spawn or extend it symmetrically.

To extend the size of an element click the cone and select Extension.

Either drag the cone to its new position or enter a value for the extension.

To set an absolute size of an element, click the cone and select Absolute.

Either drag the cone to its new position or enter a value for the absolute size of the item.

To create a Spawn, click the cone and select Spawn.

Either drag the cone to its new position or enter a value for the size of the spawn. The spawn will be created as a separate element.

To extend an element symmetrically, click the cone and select Symmetric.

Either drag the cone to its new position or enter a value to symmetrically extend the element.
