The attribute controls the style and colour to be used to draw p-lines. Set directly, for example:

PLNSTYLE CHAINED
PLNCOLOUR 1

Use CHAINED lines of minimum thickness and Colour 1 for p-lines

PLNSTYLE can be set to OFF.
