When a designer creates a design instance from a Design Template, for example, an equipment template, the Create Equipment window incorporates a Plotfile selection which can display an associated plotfile; typically a dimensioned plot of the parameterized item.
If a plotfile is not associated with the Design Template, the Plotfile selection displays as inactive, when referenced in a design instance.
To associate a plotfile with a design template, on the Design Templates tab, in the Modify group, click Property Definitions to display the Define Template Properties window.
