It is possible for you to override the scheduler by transferring items immediately. The Transfer functionality works on the individual items from the Model Explorer and allows you to transfer an item to a remote location on request or when an item has by mistake missed a scheduled Transfer. The Transfer functionality is available from the Model Explorer, right click to display the menu and select Transfer.

The Transfer option works on the item selected in Model Explorer only.

Transfer means that an item is released from an extract (Transfer to Parent) or (Child to Parent). Transfer will cause the entire database to be Flushed or Refreshed, but will only transfer the ownership of the selected items. All other items will not be Extract Claimed or Released.

The Transfer To Parent and Child functionality fully complies with Data Access Control (DAC) as applied by the Project Administrator. Transfer To Parent adheres to rules defined by the OpIssue access and Transfer To Child adheres to rules defined by the OpClaim access. If either access is denied, then the operation to Transfer the item will fail. Refer to Data Access Control and Stamps in a Global Project for further information.
