Cache Generation and Rendering

  • Last UpdatedAug 14, 2025

In order to generate an AVEVA Rendering Framework (ARF) cache, the Graphical Changes Service (GCS) application must be installed. The GCS is used to generate a baseline from a selection of elements and delta caches whenever any graphical elements are modified and saved. Only graphical elements that are in the baseline cache or delta caches that have not been modified between the session that they were added to the cache and the current session are rendered by ARF. Any elements that have been modified since the cache was created will continue to be rendered as before in the Graphical Explorer view. Elements that are rendered from the cache display much faster.
