Graphical Explorer

Improves performance when rendering large models. The model elements are loaded from a cache generated using the AVEVA Rendering Framework (ARF).

The Graphical Explorer window displays a read only 3D view that can be populated with elements from a drawlist and manipulated (for example, zoom, pan and rotate) in the same way as any other 3D view. The Graphical Explorer functionality is disabled if ARF caches are not available for the project. The Graphical Explorer 3D view functions in much the same way as any other 3D view with some limitations. To create the ARF caches, the AVEVA Graphical Changes Service (GCS) application must be installed.
