In some cases, the receiving application might not be able to identify the real position of some visible geometry. In such cases, it might result in problems with measuring distances between native geometry and the imported objects in different configurations. Sometimes, this effect might be limited to a single IFC class or geometry type: in other cases, it might affect all imported elements.
