Creates a user view on an existing supports ABA drawing.
A user view is an additional view created by copying an existing view at a selected location on the existing drawing. The view is regenerated each time the supports ABA drawing is recreated, and the drawing creation process updates any Draw elements. For example dimensions and labels. The user view is recognized by setting the view attribute SpPurpose to USER. A user view can only be created from a valid supports ABA view, and not from an existing user view.
You are required to have sufficient working knowledge of Draw to make use of this functionality.
You can modify and position the user view as required. Attributes can be modified and view elements created or deleted.
You are prompted to Select element
Click to identify an element on the existing view to be copied. By default, the Point Construction Option Form window displays which allows you to define the frame position for the user view. Refer to Define View Frame with Cursor for further information.
You are then prompted to Specify position
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the view position.
The user view is created as an exact copy of the original view at the specified location.
