Creates a drawing from a selected drawing type and template.

Select Drawing from the available Drawing Types.

Select a Template Type from the drop-down list to filter the available Templates. The appearance of the templates is pre-defined by the administrator allowing for the production of company standard drawings.

Individual templates are defined for the various drawing types.

TT/DRA/PRJ/TMP/ADP-PGA

Select from the drop-down list to create a drawing using the ADP drawing template.

TT/DRA/PRJ/TMP/CLASH

Select from the drop-down list to create a drawing using the Clash drawing template.

TT/DRA/PRJ/TMP/ELEC

Select from the drop-down list to create a drawing using the pre-defined Electrical drawing template.

TT/DRA/PRJ/TMP/EQUI

Select from the drop-down list to create a drawing using the Equipment drawing template.

TT/DRA/PRJ/TMP/HVAC

Select from the drop-down list to create a drawing using the HVAC drawing template.

TT/DRA/PRJ/TMP/HvacSketch

Select from the drop-down list to create a drawing using the HVAC Sketch drawing template.

TT/DRA/PRJ/TMP/PIPING

Select from the drop-down list to create a drawing using the Piping drawing template.

TT/DRA/PRJ/TMP/PipeFabrication

Select from the drop-down list to create a drawing using the Pipe Fabrication drawing template.

TT/DRA/PRJ/TMP/PipeSketch

Select from the drop-down list to create a drawing using the Pipe Sketch drawing template.

TT/DRA/PRJ/TMP/STRUCTURAL

Select from the drop-down list to create a drawing using the Structural drawing template.

TT/DRA/PRJ/TMP/Marine

Available for use with Marine projects only. Select from the drop-down list to create a drawing using the Marine drawing template.

Click Create to display the Create Drawing window.

The Create Drawing window is very similar to the Hierarchy Browser window. Refer to Create Departments, Registries and Drawings with the Hierarchy Browser Window or Open Window.

You can browse the hierarchy to select the registry that the drawing is to be created in. Either input a name in the Name field, or leave it blank if the drawing is to be assigned a default name.

Click Create to create the drawing or Cancel to discard any inputs and close the Create Drawing window.

A drawing is created together with sheet and library elements.
