Cascade and Apply Rules

Whitespace styles and element rule sets can be associated with drawing elements. The associated styles and rule sets can be used to consistently utilize the white space on multiple drawings.

The following elements are supported.

The Wostrf attribute is used to associate a WOSTYL element.

The Wgstrf attribute is used to associate a WGSTYL element.

The Wsersf attribute is used to associate a WSERST element.

By default, when a new element of a supported type is created in the hierarchy, the Wostrf, Wgstrf and Wsersf attribute values are copied from the owning element.

When the 'from template' mechanism is used to create a drawing/sheet, the Wostrf, Wgstrf, Wsersf attributes are copied from the template.

The Wostrf, Wgstrf, Wsersf values can be copied to all supported member elements of the currently selected element in the Draw Explorer. Refer to Batch Mode Whitespace Calculation using the Command Line for further information.
