Add a Cross-Reference

Cross-references are links, the targets of which are located within the current document and are used to navigate to a specific area of a report.
In the example, a report is created with a link placed on the page footer, linking to the beginning of the report from the bottom of each page.

Create a report.

Right-click anywhere on the report, select Insert Band and ReportHeader from the drop-down menus.

On the Toolbox, select Label.

Click on the ReportHeader blank space to position the control and populate the label with a title.

On the Properties window, click the Miscellaneous tab.

Set the Name property to ReportTop.

On the Toolbox, select Label.

Click on the PageFooter blank space to position the control and populate the label with the text Top of Report.

On the Properties window, click the Miscellaneous tab.

Set the Navigation Target property to _self.

Set the Navigation URL property to ReportTop.

Click the Print Preview tab to display the result.
