Creates zones from space arrangement. This function has two different workflows.

The first scenario is that the database structure is created using the function Database Structure. The following steps must then be performed to create a site and a zone in each created database:

  1. Tick the box Site per Database.

  2. Select the space arrangement that was used to create the databases as current element (CE).

  3. Use the function Get Arrangement.

  4. Add site and zone suffix.

  5. Use the function Overview to get the grid filled

  6. Use the function Create to create the site and zone per database.

The second scenario of this function is to create zones within a specified database.

The following steps should be performed to create a site and a Zone in each created database:

  1. Untick the box Site per Database.

  2. Select the site under which the zones shall be created as current element (CE).

  3. Use the function Get Site.

  4. Select the space arrangement that represents the zones as current element (CE).

  5. Use the function Get Arrangement.

  6. Add zone suffix.

  7. Use the function Overview to get the grid filled.

  8. Use the function Create to create the zones below the given site.

In both scenarios the zones will be linked to the corresponding space by the Spcref attribute in zone which can be used as default boundary by applications adding elements into the zones.
