Use the Visual Queries tab to add, remove, move, copy and update visual queries. Functionality is also available to modify queries explicitly.

Move selected query row up |
Moves the currently selected visual query up the order in the grid. |

Move selected query row down |
Moves the currently selected visual query down the order in the grid. |

Add new query row |
Adds a new visual query row to the grid. |

Add a copy of selected query row |
Adds a copy of the currently selected visual query row to the grid. |

Remove selected query row |
Removes the currently selected visual query row from the grid. |

|
Update selected query row |
Updates the contents of the Description, Expression, View Style and Type Collection fields into the currently selected visual query row. |
To modify a visual query, select the row and modify the Description and Expression, select a View Style and Type Collection from the drop-down lists, then click Update.
Note:
If no view style or type collection is available, basic definitions are added and
can be modified later.
Note:
The order of queries is important. A query applying to a lower level type must be
positioned below a higher level type in order to achieve the required outcome when
running the query. For example, a query displaying VALVE and INSTRUMENT instances
must be positioned below a query displaying PIPE instances. If configured the other
way around, the color of the pipe overrides the color of the valves and instruments.
