Accept or Reject Modifications to Individual Sheets

The Whitespace Report window is populated with the results of the batch run when the results have been loaded. Modifications to individual sheets can be accepted or rejected.

Each sheet has a defined result tier and result state.

Result Tier

There are four result tier categories:

Low

The maximum penalty result for the sheets annotations is lower than the user defined maximum objective preference limit set for the batch whitespace calculation.

Note:
Results are as desired.

Medium

The maximum penalty result for the sheets annotations is higher than the user defined maximum objective preference limit, but is lower than the referenced objective preference styles highest attribute value.

Note:
Results are acceptable.

High

The maximum penalty result for the sheets annotations is higher than the user defined maximum objective penalty limit and the referenced objective preference styles highest attribute value.

Note:
Results may be acceptable, user analysis is required.

Not Processed

The sheet is not processed because there are no annotations to move or the timeout limit is reached before a result is returned.

Result State

There are five result states:

Pending

The whitespace calculation results for the sheet have not been accepted or rejected. This is the default state of each sheet after the whitespace calculation.

Accepted

The whitespace calculation results for the sheet have been accepted.

Rejected

The whitespace calculation results for the sheet have been rejected. The sheet is retracted to the state before the whitespace calculation.

No Anno.

The sheet is not processed because there are no annotations to move. For example, annotations are set to Don't Move or there are no annotations.

Omitted

The sheet is not processed due to timeout, smart stop or internet connection loss.

Note:
Modifying the result state of a sheet is permanent.

Results Bar Graph

The bar graph displays the total number of calculated sheets and the result tier of each sheet.

Results List

The results list displays a list of all the calculated sheets, the following information is displayed:

  • Sheet name

  • Result tier

  • Result state

  • Review date

  • Reviewed by

Click on the required column header to sort the list by sheet name, result state or result tier.

Double click a sheet to display the Sheet result preview window. Refer to Sheet Result Preview for further information.

Right-click on the results list to display a drop-down menu.

Exports the results list to an Excel file. Click to display the Save As window. You can navigate to a location and name the exported Excel file.

Check boxes

The check boxes in the Batch run report window are all linked. When a check box is selected in one part of the window, all corresponding check boxes are selected throughout the window. For example, select a check box in the results list to select the corresponding check boxes for the result tier and the same sheet in the results gallery.

Results Gallery

The results gallery displays all of the calculated drawings as thumbnails, the result tier and the sheet name.

Retract selected

The option becomes active when a check box corresponding to a sheet is selected. Click to retract sheets to their original state before the whitespace calculation. Retracted sheets are immediately unlocked.

The retracted state is displayed in the results gallery.

Accept selected

The option becomes active when a check box corresponding to a sheet is selected. Click to accept the results of the whitespace calculation.

The accepted state is displayed in the results gallery.

No Moved Annotations

The option is displayed if the sheet is not processed because there are no annotations to move. For example, annotations are set to Don't Move or there are no annotations.

The No Anno. state is displayed in the results gallery.

Sheet Omitted

The option is displayed if the if the sheet is not processed due to timeout, smart stop or internet connection loss.

Note:
Omitted sheets do not return a result and are not charged to the customer.

The Omitted state is displayed in the results gallery.

Click Close to close the Batch run report window.
