The Modify PConns window functionality modifies the connection types on Ppoints of elements with a given SKEY for one or more specifications.
Note:
If the CE is not an SPEC element, the Modify PConns window is by default populated with all the SPEC elements in the WORLD: /* element.

To modify PConns on an individual SPWL element, from the Modify PConns window, select the SPWL element in the database hierarchy displayed in the Catalog Explorer, click CE. The SPEC Elements part of the Modify PConns window is populated with the SPEC elements of the CE.
Click Select All to highlight all entries in the SPEC Elements list.
Click Unselect All to deselect all SPEC Elements entries in the list.
Enter the SKEY to modify in the SKEY field and in the ModifyPConns part of the Modify PConns window, define the changes in the Modify Pconns From - To fields:
-
To select the PConns to modify, enter the CType for each PConn in numerical order, separated by spaces, into the From field
-
To change all the PConns for an SKEY enter a ‘*’ into the From field
-
The new CTypes must be entered for each PConn in numerical order, separated by spaces, into the To text box.
Note:
Text box entries are case sensitive.
Click Apply. The changes are made and the details are displayed in the Output part of the Modify PConns window.
If the Report changes to file box is selected, a report of the changes is saved to the file path defined in the File field. (If required, the file acts as a macro to reverse the changes. It can be run by typing ‘$M <Path & Filename>’)
Click Cancel to discard any inputs and close the Modify PConns window.
