Create Penetration in the Piping Application

To request a Piping Penetration, on the application name tab, in the Penetrate group, locate and click Create Penetration to display the Create Penetration window:

Set the Specification option to display the specification of the required penetration in the catalog.

When you click Pick Penetrated Items, you are prompted to identify one or more items to be penetrated with a Managed Hole. If an item already in the Penetrated Items list is selected, it is removed from that list.

Click Pick Penetrating Items, you are prompted to identify one or more penetrating items to pass through a Managed Hole. If an item already in the Penetrating Items list is selected, it is removed from that list.

Click OK to calculate the position of each penetration and displays the Hole Management Definition window. Click Cancel to exit the window.

If the penetrating PIPE passes multiple times through a penetrated item, for example a CTWALL, the nearest clash to the mouse pick on the PIPE will be found.
