Creates a new export template as text or binary to load and to visualize exported geometries of the elements, for example, in AVEVA Review.

Output file
Defines the name and the location of the file to which the data is exported.
If you do not input as filename, the name of the template file is used without the extension.
If you create a new template the Template file name is blank. When you have defined the template, you must name it by saving the settings using the File > Save as.
Note:
The export template files must have the file extension .xr; if you do not give an
extension, it is added automatically. User-defined templates are stored in the directory
specified by %AVEVA_DESIGN_USER%.

Defines the output type.

Creates an ASCII file which you can examine if the output results are not what you require. |

Creates a binary file suitable for reading into AVEVA Review or other applications. |
File Note
Specifies any text to help identify the content or intention of template. The text appears at the top of the template file.Enter a text up to 128 characters.
Include
Displays a list of elements to be exported. The list is empty by default.
Exclude
Displays a list of elements not to be exported. The list is empty by default.
Add
Adds the elements to the specific list using the selected element type in the dropdown list:

Adds the current element (CE). |

Identify |
Adds an element to be identified. |

Collection |
Adds all elements of a specific collection called Claimlist.
Lists are created using the Collections window. |
Rem
Removes elements from the specific list using the selected element type in the specific dropdown list.

Incl / Excl list |
Removes the selected row in the Include / Exclude list. |

Identify |
Removes an element to be identified. |

Member |
Removes the row in the Include list which corresponds to the current element (CE) |

All |
Removes all elements from the Elements list. |
Representation
Displays the Export Representation Window to define the representation of elements in the output.
Rule Class
Displays the Selecting a Rule Class Window to specify color rules to exported geometries using rule expressions.
For example, if you wish to export a ZONE containing pipes, you can set rules to export all pipe elbows with yellow color, while some other combinations can be exported with another color.
