Windows can be docked to the left or to the right of the 3D View window into the top or bottom segment of the sliding controller. Once docked the title bar of each window is removed. Multiple windows can be docked into each of the segments and will be displayed as tabs. The sliding controller can be resized horizontally but the vertical height remains the same size and cannot be changed while docked to the right or the left of the 3D View window.
The sliding controller can be collapsed when required to increase the amount of working area.
Note:
Only used in Model and Draw.

To collapse the sliding controller, click on the active tab. To open the collapsed controller, click on a collapsed tab.
Note:
The sliding controller needs to be docked to be collapsed.
A window can be floated outside of the sliding controller by dragging and dropping it into the 3D View. A window can also be dragged and dropped into other segments of the sliding controller.
